Defying Mental Illness – A Review

Our 50th Post at Defying Mental Illness

It’s congrats to us, and most of all to you our highly esteemed readers!   This is our 50th post, our jubilee post, here at Defying Mental Illness – Put a Full Stop. God has been good to us.

Our 50th Blog Post!
Our 50th Blog Post!

So let’s take a review on some of the things we have been writing about in the last 49 posts over the last 7 months.

#1  Anne’s Blogs

Anne has been opening her heart to us.   She has been helping us heal some of our emotional wounds including the hidden subject of the Selfish Reason Behind Female Genital Mutilation that affect some women of African and Asian cultures.  You must read this popular enlightening post.  It is an eye opener!  That’s all I can say at this point.

Get Rid Of Regret Once And For All, her latest blog touched on something that affects each of us. All of us have wished we had done something different or not made some decisions we had. For some, they have been stuck in the rot of regret, not been able to move forward, wishing they could wind back the hands of time. Anne has a message if you are in this rot. The best is ahead of you, so hurry there now.

 #2  Beautifully Bronzed’s Blogs

Caroline from Beautifully Bronzed has been opening her beauty bag and giving us the tools on how to keep our skin looking sun kissed and bronzed throughout the winter.  Beautifully Bronzed lets us know we can keep our embers glowing in the winter, no need for orange streaked, very fake looking tans either!  Curious, then just click here

And if you want some further tips on Looking Good overall this winter, Beautifully Bronzed have something just for you

#3  Chuck’s Blogs

Chuck wrote the very first post of Defying Mental Illness and hit the ground running with his post in on how he came of anti-psychotic drugs successfully here.

Chuck has blessed us with a wealth of varied subjects and topics.   Giving us his first hand experience on his victory over mental illness, he speaks about Life On A Mental Health Ward in two posts here and here.

Chuck has done some amazing series on addictions  and anger  too.  Then he takes us on a different path with his Business Blogs.  See some of these here.

#4  Monika’s Blogs

Monika engages us with very thought provoking and very engaging blogs.   One of her blogs on Dealing with Depression  had and still has one of the highest hits.   Many are suffering with depression and don’t know how to deal with it.   Monika unveils how she came out of it, and I tell you, we can all learn from her here.   Her latest post on Enjoying Life without Anger and Bitterness is what the doctor ordered for all of us.   Most times, we are not enjoying life because we have poison in our souls.   Let today be an end of this pain.   Rush to her post now!

#5   Waba’s Blogs

Waba tells us her side of the story on Feelings on a Mental Ward.  Being devastated that she had yet again ended up in hospital, Waba decides to turn a negative experience into a positive one.  The result of this is that she spends the shortest time in hospital and recovers quicker than before. There are pearls of wisdom in her post.   Waba certainly gives us much needed hope!

#6  Zoe’s Blogs

Zoe has taken us to her world as a caregiver and also the spouse of someone who was challenged with mental illness.   Her blog post, The Uninvited Guest, Mental Illness in the Honeymoon  and her series, Walking in My Shoes are very poignant pieces.   These posts had many hits and we received a number of emails.  It takes courage to bare yourself in this way and God has granted Zoe the grace to do so in a refreshing way.

If you are a caregiver or a spouse of someone challenged with mental illness, Zoe has a lot to say that will encourage you.  So don’t miss out on another post from her.  Subscribe to blog posts today.

#7  What To Expect In The Next 50 Posts!

There is so much more we have in store for you. We have a few surprises, freebies, and more enlightening posts rolled up our sleeves, so you got to keep coming back or become one of our subscribers!   Remember we post blogs at least 3 times a week, so there is always something here for you.

We also have a few more bloggers joining the bandwagon. Look out for Samson, Abeo, and others.  Samson will be talking on bullying and some other hot topics, and Abeo, well…wait and see.   I am not allowed to get the cat out of the bag just yet, (would love to), but hey ho, can’t add much to what I have already said here.   But I am telling you this… you will be blessed.
