‘The written word may be man’s greatest invention.   It allows us to converse with… the absent, and the unborn.’  (Abraham Lincoln – part quote)

  1. Once you have sent in your article,  we aim to respond within 5 to 10 working days; often much sooner.
  2. If you do not hear from us after 2 weeks, then regrettably, we may have not accepted your article at this time.  This does not mean we will not accept another.  However, there have been instances we have responded after 3 months if we now think your idea or topic is of interest to us.
  3. One clear rule is no post with profanity/derogatory remarks will be accepted.  Keep rants to a minimum.  Remember, the purpose of this site is to offer hope, not to vent frustration…endeavor to end on a positive note!
  4. No plagiarism is accepted.
  5. We reserve the right to remove irrelevant external links without notice.  Acceptance of links is at our discretion.  For more info on using links for posts please read here
  6. Naturally, we would hope you like what we do and hence why you want to be a part of a team that make a positive contribution to society.  Therefore, please do not ask that we email you the link to your post when up!
  7. We do not want pushy writers who demand that we meet their deadlines, but writers who genuinely care about those challenged with mental illness and their families.
  8. Once your post is up, if we find your post on another website, it will automatically be deleted from our website without notice.
  9. We would be grateful, and would prioritize the review process, if you make a few comments on some blog posts.
Small print:  We reserve the right to accept or reject any posts sent in without question.  We reserve the right to include our internal links.  We also reserve the right to edit for clarity or to suit the voice of our website.
