Chuck

It all started with Eze (fondly called Chuck) fainting at the airport.  When he regained consciousness, Chuck found himself in a mental hospital.  He was diagnosed with Psychotic Depression.  Over time, Chuck was diagnosed with a range of other mental illnesses with the final one being Schizophrenia.  Unbeknown to him about this latest record on his medical files, Chuck carried on with day to day living over the next 14 years until he met Zoe.

Over the next 4 years, Chuck and Zoe began a journey of faith to defy the odds of mental illness.  Chuck had always maintained what others may have regarded as a  ‘childlike’ belief right from the beginning, that one day he would be free from this dreadful disease.  But Chuck did not know how or when but kept saying one day he would be free.  As it happened, Chuck’s wish became a reality, showing the power of words.

By the 16th year, Chuck was completely free off medication.  It took a further 2 years however, after Chuck demanded a consultation review, that he was given the clean bill of NO MENTAL ILLNESS.  This was much to the amazement of the psychiatrist himself!

Through the power of speaking faith filled words to his mind and his situation, Chuck and Zoe discovered that Meditation and Confessions (being speaking the faith filled words), were one way of making a remarkable, permanent recovery from mental illness.

As a result of this, Chuck has to date written the Meditation and Confession series – one on People facing Mental Health Challenges, and the other for People dealing with Fear, Anxiety and Worry.  He has co-authored two more books with Zoe, one of which is due out later in 2015.  All books are available on Amazon and leading bookstores.
