Thought for the day – Why don’t you find out my real name?

How do some words come about?  Example, nutcase?  Is it that you don’t know my name?  Or perhaps, it sounds funny?

No!  No! No!

my name is not nutcase
Just ask my name

Cambridge dictionary describes nutcase as  someone who behaves in an extremely silly way or an offensive term for someone who is mentally ill.

A lot of times in reality, people do not mean to be ‘offensive’ when using some of these words.  But the fact is that on the receiving end, it can either:

1. Be offensive in reality

2.  Be a misuse of a medical condition.

3.  Is negative, either way!

It is not about being overtly sensitive too.  Words are important. In the Bible for example, Adam was assigned the task to give names to everything in creation.  And back then before his fall, there was nothing ugly, so there could not have been any ugly terms, right?

What we call ourselves or what we call others is important.  Lets remember this.

If you like this image, why not share on Pinterest or Instagram?  Lets get the word going and bring awareness of name calling.  Thank you.
